Course Summary
This is course provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Candidate requirements

Must have good verbal and written comprehension of the English language

Must have good general health and fitness for practicals (eg. physical work)

Desert to Coast Training and Assessing is currently in the process of adding the above unit to our scope of practice. These units were previously assessed through a third party agreement with NRTAFE (RTO 52788) but will be unavailable until our scope has been updated.
